We’ve been covering the Logitech K750 Wireless Solar Keyboard every few weeks on the site lately, and you know what? We’re going to keep covering it as long as it’s on sale. They have many benefits and no issues I have yet to find. I have used many keyboards since the 1980s, but for many years now I buy only these. I use a mouse and keyboard sharing progra m called Sharemouse and the K750s always transfer between computers very well.

I use them for all my computers, including the PC and laptop in my office/studio. These connect all your Logitech devices using only the one USB port. Connectivity is done by a Logitech unified dongle. The fold down legs are hard plastic and tend to slide so I use small rubber caps on them to make them grip. The letters are a bit small, but DataCal press apply large size makes them easy to see. The keypads are soft stroke and shallow-my preference for faster typing. The recharge panels are highly efficient using any ambient light.

I have used them all on Windows computers, and the white (for Macs) work although you lose some peripheral functions. I have had several of these Logitech K750 solar keyboards in both white and black.

The battery was included which is good (didn't realize it would even have one) but we almost broke the keyboard trying to get the battery out in order to remove the protective sticker. And it is solar so I expect that to be a good exchange. And this price was much more satisfying than the Apple originals. I needed a rechargeable keyboard with a numeric keypad. If you are switching from the original Apple Keyboard, then it will take a while to get used to the lesser quality keys. The only hint of it is in the image, but there is no mention anywhere of the purpose of the USB in the product description. Would have like to know have know before purchasing that it required a USB hook up (which caused me to have to buy extra USB ports since my four on my Mac are already occupied). Overall, I really like this keyboard and hope that there will be no problems. The bulk of the device is great, then there is one or two things that they miss the mark on or take the easy way out. That's a typical type of shortcoming that I know Logitech for. I fear that they will scratch/wear off long before the board dies. The only "real" big and disappointing negative is that the printing on the keys are decals. And it's usually the misses that are the more important gear I need. This does have a single coin battery that I trust recharges as needed to support the board when it's not getting enough light? I just hope this board last a good long time?! With all the Logitech gear I have there are some hit and misses. Now I don't have to and have 3 White 1st Gen Apple keyboards in storage now. I am so tired of dealing with batteries, although, it's only one of the four that goes low and needs to be replaced.
These boards are suppose to be able to use ambient and office light to keep them going for a good long time. To me that "kinda Nutz", but that's what works for him. I have a friend that puts his on his fence facing the sun for a few hours. I have Warm White LED tape on the lip of an Art Board that sits under my raised, on a fluted cinder block, main monitor and they are, as per the "charge indicators", enough light to keep the board charged(ing). The flip out feet to raise the back of the board seem flimsy and because I need them, they'll break. Touch is good, but takes a bit of adjustment from using most other boards. Solar Eliminates the Nusance of Batteries.
